Every Monday and Wednesday afternoon, our workshop becomes a hive of activity!  Men aged 50 and over gather at Aspire’s Community Hub to meet friends, share skills, knowledge and enthusiasm and put the world to rights over a cuppa.   Better known as the Fix-it Team, they build and repair things from the workshop, and grow fruit and vegetables for the Community Hub, the wider community, and for Shed members in their new allotment.

Get involved to:
• Give a little back to the community
• Meet new people, make friends and be part of something special
• Learn new skills (it’s never too late!)
• Share and pass on your knowledge
• Keep physically and mentally active
• Help prevent loneliness and improve well-being
• Really make a difference!

There’s a membership fee of £25 per year and a charge of £3 per session to cover refreshments and materials.

No skills are required to take part – just enthusiasm!  For more information, pop into the Hub anytime on a Monday or Wednesday or call the Hub Team on 01432 266 881.
