Coronavirus

 

We want to advise you that Aspire are taking the coronavirus situation very seriously and, we have measures in place to manage the risk of infection and to ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality of support.  

Team members have guidelines on how to recognise symptoms and the protocol they must follow if they suspect they, or a person we support is displaying symptoms or, may have come in contact with the virus. Infection control forms part of our training for all staff and we have distributed easy read instructions on good handwashing protocol and other infection control practices for people to follow to minimise spread of infection. Our teams are supporting people with these accessible resources and ensuring that they understand the risks and how they can reduce them.

We are following government advice and engaging with stakeholders through briefings and conference calls, which will be cascaded to our teams and will be shared with you, so we are all well informed and as well prepared as possible.  We will let you know as soon as we can if there is anything we need to do in response to this guidance.
