Local Hereford charity, Aspire officially open their Community Hub with over 140 proud supporters gathered for the occasion
The Mayor of Hereford, Cllr Charles Nicholls cut the ribbon at the door of Aspire’s Community Hub where quite a crowd had gathered on Wednesday 25th November alongside Karen Hall, Aspire CEO, Bryan Casbourne MBE, Chair of Trustees at Aspire and Sukhdev Dosanjh, Assistant Director, Commissioning Adults & Wellbeing, Herefordshire Council.
“At Aspire, it’s all about the people. Our mission is simple. We work hard to provide a range of high quality, person-centred services, positively influencing all aspects of the lives of the people we are proud to support.” Explains Karen Hall, CEO, “We believe very strongly that everyone must have the opportunity to live in and contribute to their own community, feeling empowered and confident that everything they do has been their choice.
It was a particularly uplifting day at the Community Hub’s Open Day on 25th November where people gathered from Herefordshire and beyond to show their support for Aspire. Song, dance, music and drama filled the building after the ribbon was cut. With the confident and enthusiastic Hub members taking centre stage, everyone got involved with Cllr Charles Nicholls (The Mayor of Hereford) even leading a conga line!
