It is Thera’s 20th birthday this year and we celebrated with our Group colleagues with a walk… #TheRamble2018!
About 30 people we support and their staff teams set off on a very hot July afternoon. We had a grand send-off by the Mayor and Sunshine Radio and strolled around Hereford city, alongside the river Wye, across the Victoria Bridge, had an ice-cream on the way and paused by the cathedral, waving our flag all the way.
It was much too hot for some people and there were only a few of us who made it all the way to the Beer on the Wye Festival at the Rowing Club, where we had a well-earned rest and joined the celebrations at the festival.
2019 is Thera’s 21st birthday… a great symbol of independence! We are starting to plan events for next year so watch this space and come and join us to celebrate this great organisation and what we do.
