Aspire Living is looking for new trustees. By volunteering as a trustee, you can have a positive impact on the lives of people with a learning disability – the people who are always at the centre of everything we do. We want to hear from you if you share our Vision and have the skills, dedication and time to help shape the charity and develop its strategy for the future.
We are a charity working in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire that supports people with a learning disability. We are also part of the charitable Thera Group, led by a registered charity, Thera Trust. As a group we share a common Vision that we bring to life by having leaders with a learning disability in senior executive and non-executive roles.
We help people to live the lives they choose:
- By supporting people to be as independent as they can in their own homes and communities;
- By providing help to learn new skills such as managing money and going shopping;
- By assisting with finding paid employment, apprenticeships or volunteer placements;

As a trustee for us you’ll share responsibility for setting strategy for the charity and making sure that Aspire stays on course to achieve its goals. You’ll be an ambassador for us and the people we support and be passionate about our Vision and making a difference in the lives of people with a learning disability.
