We are looking a develop a team of youth workers/buddies – a perfect role for someone looking to develop a career working with young people and who has the passion to inspire and make a difference.
The job involves working evenings and alongside young people taking them out to activities in the local community or to support them to attend our weekly activities or monthly day trips. It’s an exciting and varied role. One week you might support someone to attend Youth Club and the next you’re attending a Theme Park trip or off to a Gig!
The role is varied and involves a practical, solutions focused approach and you must be flexible and adaptable.
The training available and dynamic approach make this an exciting role for someone looking to build a career in youth work or simply to encourage young people to fulfil their full potential.
You will work on a one to one basis, or with a small group of young people. When working one to one, the role will require support and encouragement with independence skills and may involve some support with personal care or emotional and behavioural support.

We have a range of hours available on pay as you go contracts. Usual hours include 3 hour sessions during weekdays between 3pm – 7pm, or at our weekly activities on a Thursday plus weekends and school holidays for day trips and events.
