Younger People

If you are 14 or over, we can support you to have a great social life!

Our Youth Club, after school Tea Club, day trips and activity during school holidays are a great way to meet people, make new friends and get out and about.

We encourage friendships through shared interests and aim that everyone can rely less on paid support to have a good time.

We get out and about in the community and do an enormous range of things including visits to the cinema, theme parks, bowling and trampolining to name a few.  You might go out in a small group or with your Buddy.

Our Community Hub is a comfortable, safe and well-equipped place so if you don’t fancy going out you might prefer film night toasting marshmallows and dressed in your onesie!

We want to get to know you well so we can suggest a suitable Buddy who will support you to choose what you want to do.

The best person to decide what you want to do is you. Everyone is an individual and has individual wishes and needs. You have a right to experience all the things that your friends and siblings do, to take risks in a safe and supported way and enjoy your life and growing independence.

Activity sessions are very relaxed and encourage everyone to get to know each other. This is a great way for you to socialise, make friends and have fun doing stuff while feeling safe and secure.

Activities can be paid for privately, using a Direct Payment or short break funding from Herefordshire Council.
